Cardano Lace Wallet Announces Quick Update to Fix New Bugs

Barely a week after unveiling a major upgrade, Cardano-based Lace Wallet has followed up with a new version to address bugs reported by users.

Popular Cardano-focused wallet, Lace Wallet, has released a new version of its lightweight browser extension. The upgrade has caught the eye, as it was only a week ago that the team announced a major upgrade featuring a host of changes.

However, following its earlier release, Lace Wallet notes that users have reported several bugs. As a result, instead of waiting for another major upgrade to fix the issue, the team has rolled out Lace 1.7.1 to ensure a smooth user experience.

For instance, the newest release addresses an issue preventing the wallet from connecting freely with some dApps within the Cardano ecosystem. It also fixed issues bordering on Lace’s connectivity with ADA bundles.

Among other things, the newest Lace release also interacts better with ADA handles. It mitigates a bug that disrupts the send flow for users with ADA handles and helps such accounts manage transaction bundles better.

Meanwhile, the latest minor improvements add to the enhancements Lace introduced in Lace 1.7. As part of a multi-staking upgrade, users can now stake ADA in up to ten pools, up from five in the previous version. Additionally, the wallet now enables users to store their preferences on-chain, ensuring there is no need to reset them when they switch devices.

Lace Wallet Broadens Access to Cardano Network

Developed by Cardano-backed Input Output Global, the Lace Wallet is a popular option for users on the network. Since launching in April, Lace has amassed 10,000 users and maintains an impressive 4.8 rating on the Chrome webstore.

In June, Lace Wallet added support for Brave Browser, unlocking access to the Cardano network for the browser’s millions of users. With its latest suite of improvements, Lace notably edges closer to its goal of offering a sublime user experience and onboarding more people to the Cardano ecosystem.
